FOREST KINDERGARDEN BAD HOMBURG

Since 2007, visual artist Claudia Pense and the music pedagogues Claudia Gschwendtner and Nadja Gorbachev visit the Forest Kindergarden Bad Homburg once a week. In the midst of Bad Homburg's Hardt-Forest they playfully introduce the children to visual arts and music.

The project aims at waking the children's creative joy and expressability through regularly making music and artistic practice. With regards to Land Art the children built over the course of the year ephemeral art works in nature. Inspired from observing nature in the forest and gathering objects from nature they paint, draw, model, construct, sing, and play music. Their impressions of the nature's changing seasons or the shifts in wind and weather influence the musical and artistic design.

In the course of KulturTagJahr the kindergarden children frequently visit Sinclair-Haus Museum's exhibitions to find inspiration in the originals and to elaborate on them in nature.
